These small rodents do not damage the houses in which they live, as they live mainly from fruits and berries.
When they run across the roof at night, the dormice are rather noisy at times.This animal was disturbed during hibernation in the stone wall in my house, when a new door was constructed.

This male sat under the rooftop, watching us intensely.
